Controller of Examinations

It gives me immense pleasure, as Controller of Examinations, to welcome you all to the new academic session of Lahore College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (LCPS) and Lahore Institute of Health Sciences (LIHS).

Our institutions are committed to providing quality education, professional excellence, and a strong foundation of ethical values. We strive to create an environment where students learn not only through theory, but also through practical experience, participation, and meaningful interaction.

At LCPS/LIHS, we maintain close coordination with the University’s Examination Office and faculty to ensure transparent, fair, and efficient examination arrangements. A structured assessment system, including sessional work, assignments, and mid‑term examinations, is designed to evaluate students’ academic progress before final examinations.

The purpose of these examinations is not merely grading, but to enhance learning, critical thinking, skills development, and subject understanding. Assessments provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, meet academic standards, and identify areas for further improvement.

Over the years, LCPS has earned a distinguished reputation for academic excellence and innovation. Our modern classrooms, well‑equipped laboratories, resourceful library, and dedicated faculty members reflect our commitment to preparing students for professional success.

We continuously strive to provide a supportive and inspiring learning environment, strengthened by updated infrastructure and strong industry‑academia linkages. We encourage our students to make full use of these opportunities and prepare themselves confidently for future career challenges.

I wish all students a successful, productive, and rewarding academic year.
