About the Department of Pharmacy

The Department of Pharmacy at LCPS was established with a visionary goal — to empower aspiring students with the opportunity to pursue higher professional education in pharmaceutical sciences. Since its inception in 1997, LCPS has remained committed to academic excellence and innovation in pharmacy education.

Founded by Dr. Naim Anwar Muzaffar, a visionary educationist and one of Pakistan’s most respected pharmacists, LCPS emerged at a time when private sector involvement in scientific education was still rare. Dr. Muzaffar, along with a team of senior professionals with over 30–35 years of experience, laid the foundation for a college that would set new standards in pharmacy education. The college was created in response to a growing national need: thousands of capable students, despite their academic achievements, were denied admission to professional institutions due to limited seats. This gap led to widespread disappointment and wasted potential. LCPS was established to provide these bright minds with a chance to transform their future and contribute meaningfully to society.

Through its strong alumni network and deep-rooted professional connections, LCPS actively assists students in securing internships and job placements, helping them transition smoothly from academics to a rewarding career. The Department of Pharmacy is more than an academic unit — it is a center for personal growth, innovation, and national service. We don’t just educate pharmacists. We shape future healthcare leaders.

Purpose-Built Laboratories

The Department of Pharmacy at LCPS is proud to offer purpose-built laboratories that serve as a cornerstone of our academic and professional training. These laboratories have been meticulously designed and equipped to meet the rigorous standards of contemporary pharmaceutical education, providing students with an immersive, hands-on learning environment. Each facility is tailored to support practical instruction, experimental work, and applied research.

Maintained under strict quality and safety protocols, our laboratories foster a culture of precision, discipline, and innovation. The infrastructure reflects our institution’s dedication to cultivating competent, ethical, and industry-ready pharmacy professionals who are capable of contributing effectively to clinical, industrial, and community healthcare settings. By integrating modern instrumentation, guided supervision, and experiential learning, our labs play a vital role in preparing graduates to meet the complex challenges of today’s pharmaceutical landscape.
