As a Controller of Examination, it gives me immensepleasure to welcome you all to this new academic session ofLahore College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (LCPS) LahoreInsititute of Health Sciences(LIHS).We at LCPS/LIHS strivevery hard to inculcate in our students the true values of lifeand professional ethics. The curriculum has been sodesigned that the students learn not by rote and theory butby participation and interaction.
At LCPS/LIHS,we liaise with the University’s ExaminationsOffice and the faculty regarding the examinationarrangements. There is a formal procedure involving mid-term assessment of the student’s prior to their actualexamination.We advise students to do their best in theseassessments to achieved the highest grade/marks possible. The purpose of these mid-term examinations is to prepare all the students through written andviva exams. These assessments would allow students’ to enhance learning, skills, andunderstanding. Assessment enables students to demonstrate that they have fulfilled theobjectives of their course and achieved the required standard. Assessment also helps studentsto reflect on their learning, and to recognize and enhance their achievements. LCPS has created a name for itself during its mighty 20 years and today, we are known for ourinnovative approach of imparting education through well equipped and futuristic classrooms.We have a competent team of highly skilled and dedicated faculty members, who teach more outof enthusiasm than as a profession. It is our consistent effort to create atmosphere in the campus favorable for learning byproviding continuously updates to our students in terms of the courses with infra- structurefacilities,well equipped laboratories,rich libraryand proactive industry-academic relations.AtLCPS / LIHS we welcome students who want to achieve their life goals by utilizing the best ofthese resources,explore their knowledge and opportunities as well as preparing themselves forcareer challenges in future.

Mid-Term Examinations
• These exams are held during each semester to assess students’ understanding and progress.
• Marks obtained in the mid-term examinations are compiled and forwarded to UOS as part of the final assessment.
• The mid-term component carries significant weight in the final result, promoting continuous learning and performance throughout the semester.
Final (Annual) Examinations
Annual examinations are conducted by the University of Sargodha (UOS).
• These exams follow the schedule, format, and regulations set by the university.
• Final results are declared by UOS, incorporating both the annual exam scores and the internal assessment (mid-term marks) provided by LCPS.
• Students are required to follow university-issued roll number slips and examination rules during these exams.
